This has been troubling me for few days. When I duo in UW with a 55 monk everything is cool until we get to the smites. I just can't kill them because I dont have some faction skill I need... anyway, can someone suggest a build of Prophecies-only skills that I could use for smites?

My current build is like this:

Awaken The Blood
SS [E]
Arcane Echo
Sympathetic Visage
-anything
-anything
-anything
Res Signet

no,serious farming requires skills. people dont make builds for only 1 campaign.

They are prolly saying you need Ancestral Visage or Reckless Haste, AV is basically a copy of SV but its a faction skill. Since they nerfed SV (lower duration but also lower recharge) youre just gonna have to echo SV since you dont have Factions which means you cant get AV.

Also you will need Suffering/Shadow of Fear, some hex that covers all the smites with one cast, so they dont use smite hex to take off the SS that you casted. I wouldnt reccomend using Shadow of Fear because it slows down their attacking which in turn makes SS activate less which makes em die slower. (not good)

The build I run is:

Curses-16
Illusion-9 (whatever makes SV last 8 seconds)
Soul Reaping-7
Blood Magic-leftovers (if youre using Blood Ritual)

SS
Arcane Echo
SV
AV
Reckless Haste
Desecrate Enchantments
Awaken the Blood
Res Sig

Since you dont have AV, or Reckless haste i suggest you use Blood Ritual and Suffering in that slot. (Suffering basically serves the same purpose as Reckless Haste, used for cover hex since smites use smite hex)

When you get to the smites, use Echo, SV wait till the recharge thing on the skill gets to about 7 o'clock. then cast the echoed SV, wait then cast SS and then Suffering, then cast the original SV again.

I dont echo SV and its 3:30AM here so my steps might be a little messed up. Once you get the hang of it you will tear through the smites.

PS to Coloneh: What do you think people used for dual UW farming before Factions or NF came out... all proph skills. so yes people DO make "serious farming builds" with skills from only 1 campaign.

Because sometimes you only need skills from one campaign to make a farming build. If you would have read my post you would have seen that I put down faction skills to show Nerubz what skills are used now and what skills he could use in place of the faction skills since he doesnt have Factions.

ALSO if you would have read my post you would have seen my other point. Rather than just try to explain it again ill just copy it.

those skills got nerfed, you need SV and AV now. 1 isnt long enough.
